We all think and plan for the future of our kids.We care about their education, food, living facilities, friends and every other aspect that pertains to their upcoming days. Although, we scrutinize most of the things but majority neglects the environment in which the coming generation will have to live.

Going green is a hot issue of recent times but very few people realizes that it is a responsibility of present generation. The environment in which we all are living will not support us for too long, so we have to think and care about it. Going green ideas provide a way that helps in preserving this planet. Going green is all about taking some precautionary measures and adapting few simple things in our daily lives in order to have a secure future.

One of the many going green ideas is to use home made cotton bags instead of plastic or paper bags. One can use these cotton bags as many times as possible, they are easy to wash and they never shrink as well. Most of the times, plastic bags chock the sewerage lines and they are hard to break down. On the other hand, paper bags are prepared at the cost of precious trees and our planet cannot afford that loss. Replace all the light bulbs with energy savers. Turn off the extra lights of both home and office and never forget to switch off the lights at the time of leaving the room. Try to make use of the day light as much as possible, open the curtains and let the sun light come into the room.

Try to save energy as it really helps in going green. Use fans instead of air conditioners and also ensure to run the heater on lower temperature.

Going green ideas just requires a bit of presence of mind. For example, everyone can make sure to not to leave the electrical appliances on standby mood as they still consume energy in that status. Always turn off the monitor after shutting down the computer especially before going to sleep. Turn the chargers and other appliances off, when they are not in use. Remember, water is a real blessing which we have, so avoid wasting it. It is better to make use of drip to water the plants as over watering normally destroy them.

People can contribute in going green by storing rainwater or the water which is dropping from the air conditioners. This can be later utilized for the garden and other indoor plants. Try to take a quick shower and do not waste both time and water in the washroom.

Going green ideas are not only good for our planet but they are also handy for our health. It is good to walk or ride a bike as much as possible. Use your feet for the chores that can be performed within two miles or less. It will save the gas and help in creating a less polluted environment while one can improve his overall health as well.

When it comes to living the green lifestyle, there are many aspects of your day-to-day life that you should give careful consideration. The water supply that we have all been gifted with is just one natural element that is all too often taken for granted. Green living is not about giving up the luxuries in life that you have grown accustomed to such as running water or a flushing toilet. It is only about changing the way you respect the luxuries that you have, acknowledging the impact you are making on the environment personally, and learning how to do things a bit differently in order to be more Earth-friendly. The idea of green livingin relation to water conservation could very well be one aspect that you have overlooked in your transition to living the green life. The first step in water conservation in your daily life is simply the act of reducing the amount of water that you use in your household. There are a variety of ways that this can be accomplished. Simple changes, such as turning off the faucet when you brush your teeth or the shower when you lather up, are an awesome step in the right direction. You could even go a bit further by updating fixtures and appliances in your home. For example, trading in your old top-load washer for a newer, more conservative, front-load model, will cut the amount of water you use on laundry each week by nearly 200 gallons.

If you are looking to make a dramatic difference in the amount of water that you use in your home, you should consider changing your toilet, your faucets, and any appliance in the home that uses water. Years ago, there was not much concern among the general public about the amount of water that was wasted. When these items were designed, they were typically designed with functionality and luxury in mind. In recent years, this has changed tremendously. Newer fixtures and appliances are held against a much higher standard and are much more suited to accommodating a green lifestyle.

When you really start to get serious about living green, you will see that there are many times that you have allowed perfectly good water to be wasted or washed down the drain. The second step in conserving water is reusing. Stop and think for a moment about the water you use for dishes, bathing, or cleaning. This gray water, as it is technically referred to, is perfectly suitable for reuse to water your plants or lawn, wash your car, or do other household chores. Just by making it a habit to place a bucket or bowl under the running faucet as you wash your hands, you could conserve several gallons of water each day to use elsewhere in your home.

Many people who live a green lifestyle recycle various materials and trash from their home. It is not a new concept to recycle. This is actually the first step that most people will take towards being more Eco-friendly. However, the idea of recycling your water supply has most likely never crossed your mind. Thankfully, with new innovative inventions and a society that is gearing their thoughts towards saving the environment, it is now completely possible to recycle the water that you use throughout your home. Water recycling systems, which have previously been used in larger settings, are now becoming a common addition to average households.

Reducing, reusing, and recycling your water supply is all about conservation. Conservation and living green go hand-in-hand. You basically cannot have one without the other. By being more mindful about the way that you use your water, you will be doing your part to conserve one of the most important natural elements that many people take for granted. Water is one thing that no living thing on the planet can live without. By making yourself, and your family, more aware of the amount of water that is wasted, you will be living a more green existence and could even save yourself some money on your water bill in the process.

World is changing and there is nothing we can do about it.
World is changing and we change with.
Earth is dying and we are the cause.
Mankind ruled the world for a long time and used nature for its own aims.
Woods and country sides disappear and we don´t even recognize.
We get our payback nowadays: Flooding all over the world, earthquakes and hurricanes at the same time and not to forget about chaotic seasons.
It is almost too late to stop these dangerous changes.
Things like eco-taxes won´t help, besides that is just making money for the government or have you ever heard of these taxes being used to do something good for nature…

If you want something done, do it yourself!
We know of many ways to help our environment like not using the car so often or being economical with electricity ect.
What about planting a tree? Not easy to do? Why?

It is a very easy thing to do. Get a seedling of any tree you like and you know can grow in your area. You can plant it anywhere you want like your garden, in the woods, country and even in the park nearby. If it´s not allowed planting a tree somewhere you would like to give your tree a home to, ask the competent authorities for permission or just do it. Who wants to blame you for that? Start a night action with a group of people, everyone with a seedling in his hand and start planting.
It´s not the world, but we give nature a hand.

One day we will see our tree be grown beautifully big and strong. And we can be proud of ourselves, can´t we.

“Let earth be green again”

How about having a lot of fun and doing something for the earth the same time?
We can think of many ways to protect mother earth like recycling or using the train instead of your car, composting and many other things, but have you ever thought about sparing the earth with your love live… well actually you can, with green love.

Here are some Proposals:

-Switch off all the lights in your house. Light some candles.
Take a hot shower with your partner instead of a bath, which spends more water than showering, see, thats green love.

-The most important thing in having sex is disease control. Use condoms made of natural latex. There are a bit more expensive than usual latex condoms, but they worth it.

-Do not use plastic dildos, which contain unhealthy chemicals to soften the plastic. There are many offers for green products like e.g. http://www.marieclaire.com/sex-love/relationship-issues/articles/green-sex-toys-eco-sex

-Our intimate areas are very sensitive, so we should take care of not harming them with chemicals. Use ecological lube made of natural ingredients, so rather make green love.

Eating green, does not mean to eat organic food only. It means to eat responsible.

How to Eat green

Know what you buy. If you can, inform yourself about the origins and conditions the food comes from and is made.

Buy vegetables and fruits seasonal. Food that is grown out of season does not have the vitamins it normally has and also it does not taste as well as it should.

The importance of buying seasonal for our earth is out of question. There is a natural order for food to grow. It has a big influence to earth. The ground needs specific time and minerals to live and this fact was mastered perfectly by nature. We should respect this.

Buy organic food unpackaged or with a bio branded bag. The plastic bags that are used as packages mostly contain chemicals, that has an effect to the food we eat.

Grow your own organic, Green food, if you have the possibility like a garden or a big terrace. Even on your balcony you could grow your own tomatoes.

You also eat green, when you think of buying food from local farmers. On the long run and if many people do so, there will be a huge saving of gasoline and as an effect less emissions and air pollution.

Here are five things everyone can do to help saving our planet

1. Recycling: Starts with waste separation like organic waste, electronic waste, paper and carton, batteries. All these things should be thrown away separately. So it will be easier for the competent authority to recycle those things the right way.

2. Try to be aware of your electricity usage and be economical. Don not leave all the lights in your house open, just the ones you really need. Use energy saving bulbs. Switch the TV or other electronics off, if they are not used. Don not turn the heater on its highest level while all windows are open. Try to heat up you room at night and turn the heater off at daytime. This will save a lot of money and energy.

3. Alternative energy. Everybody can do that and it is not as hard as it sounds. You can for example have solar by using solar panels. You can make your own wind energy by arranging wind turbines. It may cost you some money at first, but at long sight it will save you a lot of money and is a further step in doing something for your planet.

4. Use more public transportation. Do not use your car for going anywhere, you could also go by train or by walking. Don´t be lazy

5. If you own a garden or have a terrace, plant as many trees and plants as you can. Even if you do not have so much space to plant something, you can have a little plant in your flat. That will help to clean the air in times where a lot of our greens are cleared to make space for parking lots or shopping malls.

Expensive make up and creams are told to be the ultimate solution for your problems. Every two weeks there is a brand new product on the market and everytime it is said to be better than the one before.

Fact is, we don´t even have a glimpse of all the chemicals that we clean and decorate our face and body with.

What will our face look like when we grow old? The cosmetic industries want to make money. That is their goal, so they invent products, which take care of us spending money on their cosmetics. There is no thought of keeping our beauty in a healthy way.

But there is something, that gives us all we need and don´t seek for our money “Nature”.

On this site you will find many tips and tricks to be and stay a natural beauty in a healthy way.

Start the day with a fountain of natural youth

During work days we don´t have much time for ourselves. Many factors keep us from taking our time, but you know what, just take it. Every week just one day,

Open the tap and let hot water pour into your bathtub, slip out of your clothes and lose yourself in 20 minutes of heaven.

Here are some recipes for your own fountain of natural youth

Camomile – to – chill

- 20 tablespoons of chamomile blossoms

- 4 teaspoons olive oil

- 4 drops lavender essence

Rose – to – doze

- 100ml of rose oil, 250ml milk (4-5 baths)

Almond- Coconut for soft skin

- 70ml Almond oil, 30ml Coconut oil, 200ml milk (4-5 baths)

Jojoba for dry skin and cellulite

- 15 drops of jojoba oil, a handful of rose blossoms

Foot – Care

A hard day for your feet. They work hard for you every day, they deserve some attention, don`t they.

Natural Footcare

Everybody wants to have soft and good looking feet. Only because

Rub away horny skin:

- Fill warm water in a bowl, add some cream or milk and 4 drops of rose or almond essence. This will soften your feet and give them moisture.

- Now they are ready to get rid of horny skin. You can use a callusslicer, pumice stone or a peeling glove, that´s all good.

- Afterwards you need a good rich cream. Use olive oil or milking grease.

If you had a long and hard day of stay and you feet became tired, use a mix of eucalyptus extract and rosemary oil. This will make them feel fresh and wake.

Face Care:

Our skin is imperiled by free radicals and air pollution. Also we should be careful what kind of make up or creams we use. Best thing to do is using natural cosmetics and green make up and even better, homemade cosmetics.

When people talk about going green, they actually refer to a certain lifestyle. Going green does not only mean to recycle or using the right toiletpaper. It is a way of living green. To care about the enviroment and act in harmony with the planet earth.

First of all you should not think of it in a way that you will sacrefice something to „give back“ to mother nature. That is not important. Important is that living in harmony with your enviroment and the nature is also healthy and fulfilling.

If you live green, you will see that the impact it has on your health and overall level of happines. It is easy to start and a lot of fun to live it. Going green ist he right thing to do if you feel that you want to do it.

You have the reasons to prefer natural and organic ingredients for your beauty routines. You don’t want to harm your environment and your skin with God knows what harsh chemical substances and carcinogenic ingredients present in all cosmetic products. Neither have you enough time to blend lemons and almonds every other night. A good option for you is using organic cosmetics.

Organic beauty products are becoming more and more popular because they don’y contain toxic chemicals that conventional beauty creams often do. As the green market grows, brands develop all kind of organic cosmetics.

You go to a mall to get yourself a set of organic skin care products, nothing much a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer. But what you end up with is just more confusion and head ache among all those brands saying that they are the organic, the green, the everything ones.

How to chose an organic cosmetics?

The major problem that you face at this point is that most states don’t regulate the standards that make a product organic. Engineered nanoparticles, most of which can be toxic, are being used in almost all cosmetics, from sunscreens and anti-aging creams to shampoos and toothpastes . 50 – 60 % of these toxic substances can be absorbed by your body. You, as the consumer should be aware of what to look for.

A trained organic cosmetics buyer knows how to read the labels. Organic beauty products don’t contain synthetic ingredients. They are made of all-natural herbal essences. If you can get the information that the raw materials, ie. the herbs and fruits used, had not been exposed to harmful chemical pesticides and fungicides, that is what you are looking for.

Don’t jump onto that shampoo for it says to contain papua oil. Almost all cosmetics are made of essential oils. However, the additives they may also contain can harm your body in the long run. Containing a small percent of herbal extracts doesn’t make a cream organic. So, be aware of the chemicals in disguise that try to sell themselves as natural.

Reading the label, you should verify the ingredients that make up your choice and be careful about certain substances that could also be present in the beauty product. An important tip is to look at the very and of ingredients list, where you can find the name toxic substance if there is, because they are used in very small amounts.

Formaldehyde, for example, which is present deodorants and nail polish, poses a significant consideration for human health, with its toxicity and volatility. Antifreeze, just to give another example, is added to to many skin lotions and creams for soohting quality. You wouldn’t like to expose your skin to these. So, be cautious about the labels!

It’s also always a good idea to a stick to a pretigious brands that you trust. Before going to the mall, make a quick google search for the big brands in business, read reviews and critics of health care experts.

As we kiss good bye to summer with heavy rains in many parts of the world, I am sure that many of us started digging their wardrobes for autumn pieces. I thought Lara Miller’s Autumn 2009 collection could be inspiring for those who prefer eco-clothing.

Being a Lexus Hybrid Living Sustainable Partner, Lara Miller promotes environmentally conscious clothing in her collections. She avoids overseas production and pays attention to recycling. Highly influenced by the architectural and cultural landscape of Chicago, you can catch the built and moving forms poping up in her pieces.

Acknowleding the relatively high prices for green fashion, she designs garments that could be worn in multiple ways. These cloths can be twisted, wrapped, and most distinguishably flipped upside down to reveal a whole new garment. So that you can make up three different sweaters from one. This also connects the garment to the choice of the wearer.

As for fabrics, she works a lot with the handloomed bamboo sweaters, incorporating some organic cotton with seaweed fabric.
