I want to share with you a raw recipe of Laura C. Fox. I’m trying to get used to eating raw these days.
2 cups soaked + germinated sunflower seeds
2 cups soaked sesame seeds (unhulled)
1 small piece onion
1/2 lemon, peeled and seeded
1/2 tsp. tamari (gluten free if desired)
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
4 dark green leaves (such as collards, kale, chard)
5-10 large basil leaves
3/4 cups water
1 tbsp. olive oil
Put all ingredients in a food processor and process well. If you want a smoother pate, process longer. For a slight crunchiness, process a shorter time. Serve in green leaves, nori or on the top of a salad. You can add avocado, sprouts, olives, tomatoes.
